Material:
A mixture of EVA and polyester, similar to a yoga mat. It is firm but light and water resistant.
Firm structure:
3 plastic stays are fitted into the collar for a firmer design. However, these stays are flexible enough to avoid breaking and allowing for further customising (for example access to eating - see the YouTube video).

Criss cross closures:
This is our unique feature for a custom fit. Unlike a typical velcro closures (most plastic collars), our closures are designed for a flexible and easy adjustment. It also lets you decide whether you want a wide opening at the nose or a narrow one.

Plastic Elizabethan collars are no doubt the most effective protection for recovering pets. They are, however, the most dangerous. Not only are they terribly uncomfortable for the dog or cat, but the injuries they can cause to humans vary from light scratches through bruises to bleeding cuts. This is mostly scary with large collars.

Our goal was to create a collar that would be soft but not flimsy, comfortable but sturdy, high quality but not overpriced. It took us a year of many trials - different materials, fittings, closures, as well as a lot of testing on different dogs. Once we achieved the desired product we gave it to Veterinary Emergency Hospital in Sydney for a final review. The outcome of that trial was very positive, especially from the nurses who mostly deal with pets post surgery. And so we knew we had a winner.

Hello Fellow Fur Friends!
Borys here (I'm the handsome senior on the left). I would like to share some of my wisdom I accumulated over the years of observations and experience. In here you will find tips on nutrition, health, behaviour, fun and much more. But first let me tell you about this new amazing recovery collar.  Wearing one of them is definitely not a fun trip, but I'm glad my humans got me one when I had a hot spot. Without it I would have scratched myself stupid!
The only problem was to find a recovery collar that is both practical and comfortable. We started with a plastic one - due to the clear plastic used in its design, there is side vision. The price was also attractive. But boy, was it uncomfortable!!! And not just for me - my humans had their legs scratched by that rough plastic. So we started searching for different options. While there are many different types of the recovery collars on the market, most of them are not suitable for a large dog like myself. And the ones that actually work well, are horrendously expensive. In the end I decided to design one that is practical, comfortable and cost effective. It took me a year of development (well... with some help from my hoomans) and I finally have a product that every dog should have.
Love, Borys
